Some are 'free for customers'. That can range from places like Eljays that just asks you to buy anything, to Westport Coffeehouse that requires your purchase to be $5 or more. But most are free. (I'm 99.9% sure all the places on the map are free (because S'bux is the only place that doesn't realize that people won't pay for WiFi)), but at the same time, I'd hate to show up at a place then realize I need to pay to use the Interwebs.
